Using
light as his paint, Tony Knight discovers beauty within the land we all
share through his unique brand of landscape photography. He has the
ability to capture a moment that combines the technical, visual and
spiritual, producing images that are not only visually stunning but
always make you 'wish you had been there'.
Photography is Tony's escape from the business world, where he owns and
runs a leading commercial printing company. Whether at work or play,
Tony is always striving for perfection, and this has seen him win
numerous awards for his photography as well. "Although awards are
flattering, I am not trying to change the world with my images - just
reminding people of the beauty that still exists" says Tony.
A passionate photographer for over three decades, Tony has spent the
past 6 years almost exclusively photographing the natural wilderness of
Wilson's Promontory, Victoria. Following the 2005 fires, Tony was
commissioned by Parks Victoria to photograph and document the
regeneration and regrowth of this area. His vast collection of images
show the many faces of 'the Prom' and are to be printed in a high-end
coffee table book, complimenting his limited edition prints.
